Author: Amazing Grace, Our Littlest Hero
Biography:
Ashleigh Rose Bottorff is the author of “Amazing Grace, Our Littlest Hero,” an all-age-friendly book that features some of her many animal rescues and much, much more—entertaining and educational!
Her lifetime of pet ownership includes a horse, ducks, rabbits, four German Shepherds, a Black Lab, and several rescued cats. Her first German Shepherd was the “Instructor” for a Pet Safety class he gave at his local elementary school. Her second German Shepherd was a Little League team mascot, and as a Pet Therapy dog, she visited nursing homes. Her dogs also assisted Ashleigh in Child Day Care. As “people” dogs, they were welcomed everywhere.
Ashleigh is a small business owner and has worked for two veterinarians, volunteered at her local animal shelter, and enjoys doing animal rescue work, while promoting spay/neuter and placing homeless animals in their “furever” homes. She has worked in adult foster care for seniors and people with mental health issues. Her latest endeavor is to create awareness of AAT (Animal Assisted Therapy) and its many benefits to people with SUD (Substance Use Disorder) and mental health issues.
