Eglin Community Based Outpatient Clinic provides comprehensive addiction treatment services as part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ outpatient care for substance use disorders. The clinic offers outpatient rehabilitation and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol and opioid addiction, including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. Evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, 12-step facilitation, relapse prevention, and anger management are used to address addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. Services include individual, group, family, and couples counseling, substance use and mental health assessments, case management, recovery coaching, vocational and educational support, health education, and transitional support such as discharge planning and aftercare follow-up. The clinic also provides tobacco cessation counseling and other educational programs to support long-term recovery.
