Florida Counseling and Evaluation Services provides intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults through separate programs. The programs integrate care for co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, with adult services for individuals 18 and older. Sessions are held up to four times per week, totaling up to 12 hours, meeting Florida’s minimum requirement of nine hours per week. The program is designed to support clients in achieving long-term sobriety, maintaining mental health, and remaining in their home environments. Treatment includes individualized assessments using nationally recognized instruments such as the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI), face-to-face interviews, and collateral information to inform personalized treatment and discharge recommendations.
