The Village South Inc LIFE Program is an outpatient treatment center focused on opioid addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. It offers medication-assisted detoxification along with structured outpatient care and aftercare support to help individuals build lasting recovery. Outpatient detox is medically supervised and uses buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone to ease withdrawal symptoms. Outpatient treatment provides about 10–12 hours of structured therapy each week while allowing clients to maintain daily responsibilities. Aftercare support extends recovery through relapse prevention, vocational coaching, community support planning, and connections to mutual-aid groups.
Therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, family counseling to address relational issues, and substance use disorder counseling. The program also incorporates Community Reinforcement plus Vouchers, which use positive reinforcement to encourage recovery milestones. Together, these services create a comprehensive framework for individuals seeking to overcome opioid dependence and rebuild healthier, more stable lives.
