Women In Need (WIN) Hawaii provides a wide range of addiction recovery services tailored to support women and families dealing with substance use, domestic violence, homelessness, and incarceration. With programs operating on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi, WIN takes a holistic approach that blends evidence-based treatment, cultural practices, and strong community support.

Addiction recovery programs include a 12-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with three weekly sessions focused on building long-term recovery skills, as well as a Low-Level Outpatient Program with bi-weekly sessions that emphasize relapse prevention and maintaining balance in daily life. Aftercare services extend support through a 10-week program offering weekly sessions, community referrals, and relapse prevention strategies. WIN also provides transitional housing, creating safe, sober environments for women and children, and offers case management to help clients secure essential documents and access supportive services.

Family and community support are central to WIN’s mission. Family services address the challenges of substance abuse, domestic violence, and parenting, while the ʻOhana Coaching Program connects individuals with volunteer peer coaches for free guidance and resources. WIN’s Hawaiian Culture Initiative integrates Native Hawaiian values and practices such as ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (language) and mālama ka ʻāina (land stewardship), reinforcing cultural identity and community connection as part of the healing process.
