Wedgwood Christian Services provides a comprehensive, faith-based continuum of care that combines publicly funded core services with donor-supported programs to deliver innovative and holistic treatment. Its specialized residential program for adolescents ages 10–17 addresses substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions through a person-centered approach that focuses on both addiction and its underlying causes. Youth receive structured support that includes daily group therapy, individualized coaching, relapse prevention, and education on the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual impacts of substance use, while also learning to identify triggers and develop healthy coping strategies. Incorporating elements such as the Stages of Change model, 12-step principles, peer support meetings, and ongoing monitoring through drug screening, the program is designed to promote lasting recovery and overall well-being.
