Samaritan Behavioral Health, Inc. (SBHI) provides comprehensive Substance Abuse Services for adults ages 18 and older, accepting Medicaid, Optum, Anthem, and Medical Mutual. The program offers individual, group, and family counseling; case management; care coordination; peer support; and outpatient services. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction utilizes buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol) in conjunction with required counseling sessions. SBHI addresses addiction to alcohol, cocaine, barbiturates, marijuana, heroin, and other substances. Through Project DAWN, the organization also provides training—both online and in person—on the use and distribution of naloxone (Narcan) kits, which are available free to participants. Additional services include combined substance abuse and mental health counseling as well as ambulatory withdrawal management.
