S2L Recovery, also known as Spring 2 Life Ministries, is a men-only, faith-based residential and detox treatment center located in the peaceful hills of Woodbury, Tennessee. Accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the state, the center combines medically supervised care with Christian principles to guide men toward long-term sobriety and personal transformation.
The program begins with medical detox, where licensed medical staff provide 24/7 support for safe withdrawal from substances such as opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, and stimulants. Clients also have access to FDA-approved medications, including buprenorphine, as part of medication-assisted treatment. Residential care starts with a six-week stay at “The Lodge,” with options to continue into later phases at “The Cabin” or beyond. Each phase emphasizes spiritual growth, relapse prevention, and life-skills development.
The treatment curriculum is Christ-centered, integrating seven biblical virtues—goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love—through group classes, Bible study, prayer, and pastoral counseling. Alongside this spiritual foundation, clients participate in individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), experiential therapy, recreational therapy, and family therapy.
Holistic wellness is a core component of the program, with outdoor and recreational activities including hiking, canoeing, paintball, basketball, gym workouts, meditation, and spiritual retreats that promote physical, emotional, and mental healing. Later phases focus on practical life-skills training such as financial stewardship, leadership, cooking, housing, and employment preparation to support independence and stability after treatment.
S2L Recovery also offers tailored support for veterans, individuals with trauma, co-occurring mental health challenges, and those entering treatment through court or military referrals. By blending clinical care, spiritual growth, and holistic practices, the center provides a comprehensive path to healing and long-term recovery.
