Helen Farabee Centers’ Substance Use Services program provides outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing substance use or chemical dependency issues. The program offers substance use screenings and assessments, individualized treatment planning, individual, family, and group counseling, chemical dependency education, relapse prevention, life and coping-skills development, process groups, drug testing, and case management. The program also provides access and referrals to detoxification and inpatient substance abuse treatment when a higher level of care is needed, with adult services available during daytime and evening hours and youth programming offered in the afternoons. Family groups and recovery-focused support are also available, and Helen Farabee Centers provides substance use services as part of its broader community behavioral health system and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model.
