South Texas Substance Abuse Recovery Services (STSARS) provides outpatient substance use disorder treatment for adults with alcohol and drug addiction, including specialized opioid use disorder services. The organization offers medication-assisted treatment with methadone and other medications, individual and group counseling, substance use assessments, treatment planning, case management, and recovery support services. Its programs are designed to help individuals reduce substance use, manage withdrawal and cravings, prevent relapse, and develop skills that support long-term recovery. STSARS also provides opioid treatment services for pregnant women and coordinates medical, behavioral health, and supportive services according to each client’s needs.
