The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD provides substance use disorder and behavioral health services through its Southwest Community Service Center, offering outpatient mental health care, substance use disorder services, substance use recovery support for individuals with co-occurring disorders, and referrals to detoxification and other treatment resources. Its Substance Use Disorder Outreach Program (SUDOP) provides intake assessments, education, recovery resources, risk-reduction supplies such as Narcan kits, and connections to detox and outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults age 14 and older. The center also provides comprehensive recovery services for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders through a multidisciplinary treatment approach that may include psychiatric care, counseling, case management, and substance use treatment.
