Eagle Harbor Counseling LLC in Bainbridge Island, Washington, provides state certified substance use disorder assessments, education, and outpatient treatment for individuals and families in Bainbridge Island and the surrounding Kitsap County area. The practice offers Level 1 regular substance use disorder counseling, also described as non intensive outpatient treatment, for clients who require fewer than nine hours of treatment per week. Level 1 clients typically participate in one hour individual or family counseling sessions once or twice per week, with the frequency adjusted according to changing clinical needs. Services encompass ASAM Levels 1 and 1.5 and can include a case management focus, particularly for individuals transitioning from residential substance abuse treatment back into the community, which the practice recognizes as a potentially vulnerable period in the recovery process. Family counseling and education are also available for relatives of individuals experiencing addiction, helping family members address the secondary effects that substance use can have on relationships and family functioning. Eagle Harbor Counseling does not provide Level 2 Intensive Outpatient treatment, including programs involving nine or more treatment hours per week, and individuals requiring IOP are directed to other treatment providers. In addition to substance use disorder services, Eagle Harbor Counseling conducts Guardian ad Litem investigations in King County.
