Eugenia Center in Chehalis, Washington, provides person centered substance use disorder treatment and recovery services for youth, adolescents, adults, and families affected by alcohol or drug use in Chehalis and the surrounding Lewis County area. The center begins treatment with an assessment of each person’s needs, circumstances, and recovery goals and uses that information to help determine appropriate services and develop an individualized treatment plan. Substance abuse services include standard outpatient treatment for individuals who can continue living at home and managing their daily responsibilities as well as intensive outpatient services for clients who need more frequent and structured support while remaining in the community. Individual and group counseling are available to help clients explore their substance use, develop healthier coping strategies, improve relationships, and work toward personal recovery goals, while education and recovery support help individuals better understand substance use, recognize challenges, and strengthen skills that support healthier choices and continued recovery. Eugenia Center also provides DUI assessments and Alcohol and Drug Information School services for individuals requiring alcohol or drug related assessment or education. Additional support includes case management, care coordination, peer and recovery support, connections with community resources, and assistance navigating the recovery process. The program recognizes that recovery can follow different pathways and emphasizes meeting each individual where they are, identifying services appropriate to their needs, and providing ongoing guidance toward greater health and stability.
