Royal Life Centers at The Haven in Lacey, Washington, provides comprehensive substance use disorder treatment for individuals recovering from alcohol and drug addiction in Lacey and the surrounding Thurston County area. The Haven specializes in the earliest and more intensive stages of addiction recovery through sub acute medical detoxification and residential inpatient treatment, with 24 hour medical supervision available during detox to monitor withdrawal symptoms and promote safety. Detoxification includes biopsychosocial and spiritual evaluations, individualized medical protocols, and medication assisted treatment when medically necessary to manage physical dependence and support clients during early recovery. Following detox, the residential inpatient program commonly lasts 14 to 30 days and provides intensive therapy, addiction education, individualized treatment planning, development of healthy coping skills, and treatment focused on identifying underlying causes and triggers associated with substance abuse. Dual diagnosis services are incorporated for people experiencing co occurring mental health and substance use disorders, with mental health treatment integrated into the recovery process. As part of the larger Royal Life Centers continuum, clients can transition from The Haven into lower levels of care at the affiliated aftercare facility located next door, including a Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, traditional outpatient care, and sober living. PHP represents the first four weeks of a 12 week aftercare program, while IOP generally covers the remaining eight weeks and emphasizes therapy, skill development, accountability, and practicing recovery strategies in everyday life. Outpatient treatment further helps clients balance employment, personal responsibilities, and recovery, while sober living provides structured housing with peer support, accountability, life skills development, and recovery resources. The complete Royal Life Centers continuum can extend beyond four months, allowing clients to gradually move from medically supervised detox and residential care toward outpatient treatment, sober living, and greater independence while strengthening relapse prevention skills and long term recovery.
