New Horizon Care Centers, Inc. Isabella House Women and Children’s Program provides specialized residential substance abuse and addiction treatment for pregnant women and mothers with children who are struggling with alcohol or drug dependence. The program offers a six-month inpatient treatment experience designed to help women achieve sobriety while strengthening their parenting abilities, emotional well-being, and independent living skills. Isabella House provides individual counseling, group therapy, parenting education, therapeutic childcare, life skills development, employment readiness training, HIV/AIDS education, and assistance with transitioning into stable housing. A distinguishing feature of the program is its ability to accommodate mothers and their children together during residential treatment, allowing women to focus on addiction recovery while maintaining important family connections and developing healthier parenting practices. The program serves eligible participants through Pregnant and Parenting Women (PPW) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) assistance programs, supporting women who are pregnant, caring for young children, or working toward greater family stability. Treatment emphasizes recovery from substance use disorders, improved parenting skills, personal responsibility, and the development of healthier routines that support long-term sobriety. Through comprehensive residential care, family-centered counseling, and practical support services, Isabella House helps pregnant and parenting women overcome addiction, strengthen relationships with their children, and prepare for healthier, more independent lives.
