Mooring House is Apricity’s men’s residential Alcohol and Other Drug Addiction treatment facility located in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin, serving men in Appleton, Outagamie County, and surrounding communities. The facility provides a home like, structured recovery environment where men with substance use disorders can feel safe and supported while working toward individualized treatment goals, developing healthier routines, and building relationships with peers in recovery. Apricity Residential Treatment is licensed under Chapter 51 of the Wisconsin Statutes to provide Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Services under DHS 75.49, Transitional Residential Treatment Services under DHS 75.53, and Medically Monitored Residential Treatment Services under DHS 75.54, allowing treatment to address different levels of substance use and addiction recovery needs. Mooring House is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides 19 single bed rooms, onsite laundry, a full kitchen with meals and snacks provided, a game room with ping pong, foosball, and pool tables, and an outdoor fire pit. The facility is also accessible through Valley Transit lines 9, 2, and 30. Family members and friends may bring belongings for current residents during designated drop off periods on Tuesdays from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:45 AM to 10:15 AM. Through medically monitored and transitional residential treatment, outpatient substance use services, continuous staffing, peer community, and a men specific recovery setting, Mooring House provides a structured environment for men working to overcome alcohol and drug addiction and establish a foundation for continued recovery after residential care.
