Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient opioid addiction treatment facility located in Madison in Dane County, Wisconsin, serving adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder. The center specializes in medication assisted treatment, combining medications for opioid addiction with individual and group therapy to address both the physical effects of opioid dependence and the behavioral and emotional factors that can contribute to continued substance use. Medication options include methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, and naltrexone, including Vivitrol, providing patients with several treatment choices that can be individualized according to their medical history, substance use patterns, withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and recovery goals. Medications such as methadone and buprenorphine can help decrease opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms, while counseling and therapy give patients opportunities to examine issues associated with addiction, strengthen coping and relapse prevention skills, and build a more stable foundation for long term recovery. The treatment team works closely with each patient to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions and medication options rather than using the same treatment plan for everyone. Because care is provided on an outpatient basis, patients can continue living in the community while participating in structured opioid addiction treatment, and take home dosing may be available for eligible patients. Madison East CTC also offers same day walk ins when admission availability permits and provides 24 hour appointment scheduling. Commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, Veterans Affairs benefits, state or publicly funded coverage, and self payment are listed among the accepted payment options.
