Be Da Bin is a tribal government–operated outpatient behavioral health program that provides culturally responsive addiction treatment integrated with mental health care for individuals of all genders and ages. Services include regular outpatient treatment, telehealth counseling, and support for co-occurring substance use and serious mental health conditions. The program also offers education on substance use, HIV and hepatitis, general health, and relapse prevention, alongside case management, peer mentoring, transportation assistance, and social-skills development.
Treatment approaches are evidence-based and trauma-informed, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, 12-Step facilitation, contingency management, anger management, brief interventions, relapse prevention planning, and substance use disorder counseling. While Be Da Bin does not prescribe medication-assisted treatment directly, it supports clients using MAT prescribed by external providers. Transitional and recovery support includes naloxone training and overdose education, aftercare planning, discharge coordination, follow-up evaluations, and access to a peer recovery coaching and mentoring network.
Guided by tribal traditions and values, Be Da Bin integrates cultural strengths with proven therapeutic methods to empower individuals and families toward lasting recovery, emphasizing community, respect, and healing at every stage of the journey.
