Agate provides emergency shelter for adults in Minneapolis, offering not only a safe place to sleep but also meals, showers, and staff support to help individuals work toward long-term stability. The shelter is inclusive of couples and pairs, recognizing the importance of connection and support during the challenges of homelessness. Agate also operates Rapid Re-Housing programs to help individuals and families transition quickly from shelter to permanent, scattered-site housing. Their Permanent Supportive Housing offers long-term housing and services, including 61 fully furnished units for single adults at Park 7. Additionally, Agate’s Prevention programs aim to keep households stably housed through short-term assistance and ongoing case management.
