Spirit At Rest is a program designed for individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder, structured into three progressive parts. Part I focuses on addressing the powerlessness and unmanageability caused by addiction, covering topics such as living sober, rebuilding self-esteem, relapse triggers, and building a sober support system, with optional involvement of family and counselors. This phase meets three days per week. Part II shifts toward relapse prevention, fostering hope and faith through the 12 Steps, and encouraging participants to embrace personal responsibility in recovery, with meetings held two to three days weekly depending on therapeutic needs. Part III reinforces the lessons of Part II while promoting leadership roles, including supporting newcomers in Twelve Step groups, meeting once weekly with flexibility for additional attendance based on client benefit.
