The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) provides prevention, education, and early intervention services related to alcohol and drug misuse. Services include substance abuse education and training, drug and alcohol testing oversight, screening and assessment, and referral to appropriate treatment resources. Clinical addiction treatment is delivered through the Army’s Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC) system, which offers outpatient care, counseling, treatment planning, and recovery support. The program also offers an Employee Assistance Program that provides confidential screening, short-term support, and referrals for substance-related and other personal or work-related concerns.
