Founded in 1994, Clem-Mar House, Inc. is a residential rehabilitation center dedicated to helping individuals overcome chemical dependency and transition into independent, healthy lifestyles. The program, which lasts three to six months, supports clients in continuing the recovery process started in prior rehabilitation programs while providing guidance to facilitate a smooth reintegration into mainstream society. Clem-Mar emphasizes experiential learning through group sessions focused on life skills, job security, budgeting, and personal responsibility, complemented by referrals to community-based agencies and programs.
Clients are encouraged to maintain active participation in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) to strengthen their recovery experience. With a focus on intense counseling in an intimate setting, Clem-Mar promotes improved self-esteem, positive mental attitudes, and vocational training as foundational elements for lasting recovery. Admission involves a comprehensive interview and assessment process to determine the appropriateness of care and to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Throughout treatment, periodic assessments evaluate progress in developing coping mechanisms, educational and vocational skills, and life management strategies. Clem-Mar House, Inc. is committed to upholding clients’ rights and providing equitable services without discrimination based on age, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or religion. By combining structured support with compassionate care, Clem-Mar helps clients build the skills and confidence necessary for sustained recovery and independence.
