Catholic Community Services CReW (Counseling, Recovery and Wellness) Program in Seattle, Washington, is a licensed outpatient mental health and substance use disorder counseling program serving adults in Seattle and throughout King County. CReW provides integrated, person centered behavioral health care for adults age 18 and older who are living with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or both, with an emphasis on helping each person improve quality of life and establish individualized recovery goals. Substance abuse services include substance use assessments and individualized counseling, while the broader program offers mental health assessments, group therapy, case management, psychiatric services with medication prescribing and monitoring, care coordination, referrals, and after hours crisis support. CReW uses low barrier and flexible approaches that recognize that people make changes at their own pace, and services can be provided through telehealth or in person at locations in Seattle, Bellevue, Kent, and Federal Way. The multidisciplinary team includes Substance Use Disorder Professionals and trainees, mental health professionals, certified peer counselors, case managers, care coordinators, registered nurses, psychiatric providers, and social work interns. CReW also conducts homeless outreach in South King County, connecting people experiencing homelessness with housing, health care, benefits, behavioral health counseling, and when appropriate, inpatient substance use treatment. Outpatient eligibility includes being at least 18 years old, having active Medicaid coverage, having a mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnosis, and currently residing in Washington State.
