Gateway Counseling Services specializes in outpatient substance abuse and addiction treatment for individuals struggling with alcohol dependence, drug addiction, and substance-related legal concerns. The center offers intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), standard outpatient counseling, recovery maintenance, and continuing care services designed to meet each client’s individual recovery needs. Treatment begins with a comprehensive substance use disorder evaluation using American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria to determine the appropriate level of care and develop a personalized treatment plan. Services include individual counseling, group therapy, relapse prevention education, recovery support, and ongoing accountability to help clients manage cravings, identify substance use triggers, develop healthier coping strategies, and maintain long-term sobriety. Gateway Counseling also provides DUI assessments, court-recognized alcohol and drug evaluations, and structured treatment for individuals participating in Washington State’s two-year DUI Deferred Prosecution Program. These services include compliance documentation, progress reporting, and coordination with attorneys, courts, and probation officers. Additionally, the center offers an eight-hour Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS) course that focuses on substance use education, the effects of alcohol and drugs, and responsible decision-making. Through individualized addiction counseling, structured outpatient programs, legal compliance support, and continuing recovery services, Gateway Counseling Services helps individuals overcome substance abuse, fulfill treatment requirements, and establish healthier, more stable lives.
