Madison West Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient opioid addiction treatment facility located in Madison in Dane County, Wisconsin, serving adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder involving heroin, morphine, prescription pain medications, and other opioids. The center specializes in medication assisted treatment, which combines medications for opioid use disorder with individual and group therapy to address both the physical effects of opioid dependence and the behavioral, emotional, and social issues associated with substance abuse and addiction. Medication options include methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, and naltrexone, including Vivitrol, allowing treatment to be individualized rather than limiting patients to a single medication. These medications can help alleviate opioid withdrawal symptoms and cravings while providing greater stability for participation in counseling and the broader recovery process. Madison West CTC works collaboratively with each patient to determine which medication and therapeutic interventions best match the individual’s circumstances, needs, and recovery goals. Individual and group therapies provide additional opportunities to address patterns associated with addiction, strengthen coping and relapse prevention skills, and develop a foundation for lasting recovery. Because treatment is provided on an outpatient basis, patients can continue living in the community while receiving structured opioid addiction care, and take home dosing may be available for eligible patients. The facility also offers same day walk ins when admission availability permits and provides 24 hour appointment scheduling. Commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, Veterans Affairs benefits, state or publicly funded coverage, and self payment are among the listed payment options.
